Late in the afternoon, we headed to the indoor wave pool at Ottawa’s splash pool—an escape from the winter chill, especially since the outside temperatures weren’t quite mild enough for swimming outdoors (though we did get a taste of that Vancouver Polar Bear Swim spirit on January 1st!). Unfortunately, we forgot to take any photos while we were there. Afterward, we made our way to House of Targ, where the kids enjoyed endless arcade games. We also got to taste their famous pierogies and celebrated Julia’s birthday one more time. It was a fun evening filled with laughter, great food, and wonderful memories!
