Chelsea Day 2 -Ski Recap

With fresh snow from yesterday, the decision was made to take our group of skiers into the backcountry trails of Hollyburn instead of the groomed paths. The powder was perfect, allowing for smooth sliding through the forest, with plenty of unexpected jumps and falls that kept everyone smiling (kids and adults). The large group was split into two smaller groups to match energy levels, but both had the same bright, happy faces throughout the day.

The groups met at Keogan’s Hut for a delicious packed lunch, with some skiers even heating up their sandwiches on the stove. Afterward, the afternoon was filled with more fun backcountry adventures. The group that arrived back at the parking lot first took some extra time to enjoy the powder, creatively burying Yannick in the snow—an unexpected and hilarious way to pass the time.

All in all, it was an unforgettable day in the snow, full of laughter, excitement, and great memories!
