Day 4 Recap

We woke up to some heavier drizzle up on Hollyburn mountain this am.   The exchange participants were all in good spirits and reported having a great time in their respective cabins.  Games were played, a birthday was celebrated, boots were piled (or placed neatly as in the girls' cabin).

They all schlepped their gear down to the parking lot and changed into drier clothes.  Everyone reconvened at Stanley Park for an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt.  The teams visited such landmarks as the Olympic Cauldron, the Art Gallery, the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch, and the Yaletown Round House steam engine.  Even the Vancouver chaperones and athletes learned new things about their home city!

Everyone appeared to be having a blast despite the weather (rain...again). Thankfully it's snowing in Whistler which is where our youth and chaperones are headed to next.  Hopefully everyone will have a good rest in comfortable beds in preparation for an early start tomorrow.

I have so many photos,  too many to organize!  Hope you can all pick out your loved ones.
