Hollyburners welcomed the Chelsea skiers to a winter wonderland at Cypress Nordic Area. It was certainly a day for classic skis with more snow finally coming to our ski area. Skiers self sorted into different groups, some opting for a more leisurely ski. Jumps were attempted (some successful) and lunch and snacks were eaten.
The afternoon saw the group venture down to the more usual Vancouver climate, rain. A trip to the ecology centre and a rainforest walk in Lynn Canyon was enjoyed by all. The suspension bridges provided a great view of the impressive canyon below.
Families have been busy packing up their athletes gear for tomorrow's overnighter and the Hollyburn forest cabins and our club's annual lantern ski. Thankfully a well earned sleep-in is on tap first!
